The Hanson Trophy competition took place on Tuesday 8th April 2025, and was judged by Alison Jenkins ARPS, DPAGB, BPE 1*, CPAGB AV.

This long-standing PDI competition gives our judge the task of selecting the best of the best, as our members enter their 3 strongest PDIs.
Alison commented on the quality of the strong entry but did a wonderful job of separating out the top 3 images.
Honours went to:
- 1st – Gerry Metcalfe – Cleaner Wrasse At Work On Grouper
- 2nd – Elliot Needham – The Corner Shop China Town
- 3rd – Yvette Smith – Erica In Blue
- Highly Commended – Debra Bennett – Weathering The Storm.
Gerry, Elliot and Yvette can look forward to collecting their Hanson Trophies at our Awards Evening on Tuesday 9th September 2025.
